JCN Studio is an independent studio based in Newark, NJ, run by Jeremy J. Pena Rosa. We build customer assistants for businesses that can't afford a wrong answer — and we work remotely with clients anywhere.
Why retrieval first
We started with assistants
that can’t guess.
Most chatbots generate their replies, which means they can confidently invent a price, a policy or an opening time. So we built an engine that only returns answers a business has approved — and says so plainly when it doesn't know. It's the same engine behind Nova, the assistant on this site. Everything we've added since, from AI Assistants to Private AI, keeps that promise: accuracy first.

Language models are powerful for open-ended questions across lots of documents. We add them when they clearly help — with sources and limits — not because it's fashionable.
